Our Approach

Malcolm Pirnie’s construction management (CM) services go above and beyond the capabilities of a typical “construction manager.” On each project, we bring to bear the strengths of our national organization plus a unique perspective based on extensive design, construction, operation and maintenance experience. With an in-depth understanding of how facilities are designed and how they work, we effectively integrate construction management into the full life cycle of the project, to make sure that your project is on-time and on-budget, and that your design intent is maintained.

For each construction project, we assemble a team with the proper blend of technical and managerial skills to address your project’s unique needs. This team is involved through all phases of the project — from planning through construction and commissioning. Our CM team is dedicated to the goals of each individual project and client, and works as part of the overall project team to achieve these goals.

Each member of our CM team has specific knowledge of the procedures and processes required to construct your facility — which enables us to anticipate problems before they occur and respond quickly to address them. We equip our staff with state-of-the-art tools, such as a computerized construction management information system (CMIS), industry-standard management software such as Primavera P3® and Expedition®, as well as 4-D CADD capabilities to effectively monitor and document the construction process.
