DeWolfe Receives Water Works Operators Award |

James DeWolfe, a senior project engineer in Malcolm Pirnie's State College, PA office, was honored with the Ivan M. Glace Award by the Water Works Operators' Association of Pennsylvania WWOAP. The award was presented on August 8 at WWOAP’s 79th annual conference in State College, PA.
The award is WWOAP’s oldest, having been established in 1951. It is given to association members whose activities contribute to improving the water works profession through the dissemination of sound and progressive water works practices.
The citation reads: “Jim's overall body of work, including the quality of of his presentations at WWOAP and other allied groups, his interest in promoting the welfare and improving the skills of water treatment plant operators, and his character and reputation enhances the significance of the Ivan M. Glace Award and exemplifies the thoughts and ideals behind its establishment.”
Mr. DeWolfe has both BS and MS degrees in environmental engineering from Pennsylvania State University. He is a registered professional engineer and certified water works operator in Pennsylvania. He provides services nationally on the evaluation of drinking water operations, and he offers guidance to utilities on optimizing water treatment plant performance and achieving regulatory compliance.
